Rules and Regulations for the Thetford Township Cemetery
RESPONSIBILITIES: Citizens are responsible for items left at the graveside. Thetford Township and the Sexton are not responsible for removed or damaged items. All work is to be done by the cemetery sexton. Any items not allowed WILL be removed by the sexton and disposed of without notice. Any urn or flowerbed not maintained WILL be removed.
ALLOWABLE ITEMS:
- Fresh Cut Flowers
- Planted flowers on the graveside of the marker (not to exceed 19" from the marker)
- One urn with live or artificial flowers or one shepherd hook with live plants in a hanging basket
- Wreaths and Grave blankets are allowed November 1st through April 1st
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED:
Glass or Pottery Vases
Decorative edging or fencing
Decorative and Patio Stones
Wooden Planter Boxes
Birdhouses or feeders
Homemade grave markers
Plantings of any trees or shrubbery
Artificial flowers stuck in the ground
Crosses
Toys
Clothing
Photographs
Benches
Pets
