Ordinance No. 2015-06-00: An Ordinance to create a chapter system to categorize current Township Ordinances and facilitate an efficient reference system to allow all users the ability to see all current Ordinances in one place and allow the Township to publish all current Ordinances online.

All subsequent Township Ordinances shall specifically reference this chapter system when amending any Ordinance or assign a new chapter number to any new Ordinance so that all current Ordinances are available to the public and able to be more easily referenced.
The Township shall maintain copies of all current Ordinances and shall make necessary additions, revisions, or deletions in a timely manner upon the adoption of any subsequent Ordinance.
Invalidity
If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or part of the Ordinance is declared invalid for any reason whatsoever, such a decision shall not affect the remaining portions of the Ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect and the provisions of the Ordinance are hereby declared sever-able.
Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the first publication of the Ordinance
Publication
This Ordinance shall be published as required by law and as required by MCL 41.184.
Where Ordinances can be inspected
A copy of the Ordinance can be obtained from the Clerk of Thetford Township at the offices of Thetford Township, 4014 East Vienna Road, Clio, Michigan. Copies of the statues adopted by reference shall be kept in the office of the Township Clerk, available for inspection by and distribution to the public.
